Aims

The house system is established to nurture students’ sense of belonging and team spirit. It also serves as a platform for growth. Through activities and services, senior students cultivate their leadership skills and develop the habit to serve.

Features

Our school has Three Houses – The House of Wisdom (智), The House of Benevolence (仁), and The House of Bravery (勇). The students learn about representative characters with different strengths from the bible, i.e., Solomon, who embodies Wisdom; Barnabas, who embodies Benevolence; and David, who embodies bravery. To strengthen students’ sense of belonging to the school and their houses, P.E. uniforms are now printed in their respective house colours: red, yellow, and blue.

Organisation

There is a board of student directors in each house. The members include a president, a vice president, a secretary, a contact person and two students handling general affairs. Students vote for the positions and share the duties of the house. The organization allows students to unite and serve one another with love and care.

Implementation

House activities include student gatherings, academic and sports activities. Through leading activities and serving others, students can exert their strengths and develop positive values. The activities build a caring atmosphere in the school, raise positivity, and let students practise a positive way of life.
