Moral education, citizenship and national education are important elements of holistic education. Moral education uses life-oriented themes and relevant learning experiences to develop students towards positive values and attitudes, to help them to face various challenges in their future life.
There is a "Moral Education and Civic Education lesson" in P1-P6. The Course integrates learning activities in various cross-disciplinary value education fields such as moral and ethical education, civic education, life education, and sustainable development education.
The primary school life growth course 《新編成長列車》(http://grns.wlpl.com.hk/) allows students to learn how to manage their emotions and understand themselves, others, the environment and the world from the four strands : “people and I", "people and others", "people and environment" and "people and the universe". The way to get along will lead to a better life.
《感愛敢動》Course uses “Love” as the center, letting students to learn to give out their love, by learning to love themselves, love others and love the school. By using action to provide caring to others, at the same time they can also feel the love from God. The course also hopes students to understand School-running philosophy of the Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in China "to cultivate abundance of life and witness the love of Christ together" and related work, to understand the culture of the school, and to increase their sense of belonging to the school.
In addition to the curriculum, we hope that students can experience a happy school life through different activities and increase their sense of belonging.
