Note |
l The lunch supplier of this school year is “活力午餐”. Food in the tuck shop is provided by the same supplier. The price of each lunchbox is $30. Meal options change every month. Parents can order every month according to their needs. l Lunch order must be calculated on a monthly basis. l As the school does not provide cooling and heating services for storing and reheating food, self-prepared lunches should be simple, convenient and healthy food, and should be packed in materials that won’t break easily. l For the sake of student’s safety, the school does not encourage students to bring hot soup, cups of drinks or foods that are prone to deterioration (such as sushi, salad). l The school does not encourage students to bring meals provided by other restaurants or other pre-packaged meals. l All lunch containers must be marked with students name and class; the containers should be placed in a reusable bag for identification. l Students should bring a wet towel or sanitary wipes for learning their hands, cutlery and their desk. |
Free School Lunch Arrangement
(i) receiving full grant under the Student Financial Assistance Schemes;
(ii) studying in whole-day government, aided (including special schools) or primary schools under the Direct Subsidy Scheme (DSS); and
(iii) having lunch arranged by the schools they attend (Note: Students who bring their own lunch will not receive the subsidy)
Participating schools will be provided with the relevant funding direct by the Education Bureau. The school pays for the lunch of eligible students.
2) In principle, the effective date of the lunch grant should be calculated from the date of the parent's application for "free lunch". Lunch fees before the application would not be refunded.
3) Since the application for the Student Financial Assistance Scheme takes time, the lunch fees are usually paid in advance. Parents who has applied for the Assistance Scheme and paid for the lunch fees in advance will be refunded by the lunch supplier if the copy of the proof of receiving full grant can be provided later.
4) Parents who do not wish to participate in the free lunch programme in the beginning of the school year can still apply later, but in this case, only the lunch fees after the application will be subsided. Previous lunch fees would not be refunded.
5) The information submitted by parents will only be used to process applications for the free lunch programme.
6) The school may pass the name of your child to the lunch supplier, but the information will only be used for handling “free lunch” fees.
7) All applicants must provide a copy of the supporting documents so that the school can start the application process.
