Introduction to Our School's STEAM Curriculum

Our school is dedicated to implementing STEAM education, which integrates the five major disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, aiming to stimulate students' innovation and problem-solving skills. Through diverse learning activities, we organically combine subject knowledge with real-life applications, enabling students to strengthen their theoretical foundation and apply it in daily contexts, thereby confidently addressing future technological challenges.

This academic year, innovative technological elements will be incorporated into the STEAM curriculum, including aerospace technology and artificial intelligence, among others. Additionally, this year will see the introduction of diverse off-campus experiences for the "Creating the Future" program, such as organizing visits to technology innovation enterprises. These initiatives are designed to enrich students' STEAM learning experiences, broaden their industry perspectives and practical understanding, effectively stimulate learning interest, and comprehensively enhance their overall competencies.

We will further deepen the interdisciplinary integration of the school-based STEAM curriculum, systematically combining content from General Studies (Science and Humanities), Information Technology and Programming, Mathematics, and Visual Arts. In the first development year (2025/26 academic year), the focus will be on sorting out and aligning the curriculum content of various subjects, clearly establishing expected learning outcomes for students in terms of interdisciplinary knowledge application, practical skills, and information literacy.

During the interdisciplinary thematic learning week, a new theme, "STEAM and Chinese Culture," will be introduced. Based on the aforementioned school-based curriculum framework, students will be guided to comprehensively apply the knowledge, skills, and information literacy acquired from relevant subjects throughout the year. They will engage in thematic projects and hands-on activities, producing representative learning outcomes to demonstrate their comprehensive application abilities.
