STEAM represents Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics

Purpose of promoting STEAM Education

Strengthen students’ abilities of integrating and applying knowledge and skills and cultivate their creativity, collaboration and problem-solving skills, innovative mind, and entrepreneurial spirit, which are needed in the 21st century.

Annual STEAM development focus

  • Continuously develop teaching and learning activities related to STEAM Education
  • Carry out STEAM portfolio in GS for every level to assimilate STEAM elements into GS curriculum
  • Organize and participate in on-campus and off-campus competitions
  • Set up STEAM ROOM to showcase students’ STEAM products. Students can look around and participate in activities during its opening time
  • Make coding the teaching focus of Computer Literacy for senior grades
  • Add in theme-related STEAM activities in Cross-subject Learning Week
  • Apart from the elite class for senior grades, set up an after-school STEAM interest class for junior grades to cultivate their interest towards STEAM and discover their potential
